Ok, so put aside the usual Daily Mail ranting about 'evil beaurocrats', just skip to the bottom of the article:

Did you remark the uncanny resemblance to Bob Flemings' mate Jed Thomas from the Fast Show? (He's the one with countryside Tourette's who said A**E all the time while Bob was busy coughing- freaky!)

Did this chap have anything to do with the uncanny replica of the High Hay - another item in the Daily Mail?

It's an impressive hedge, but I really hope that owners of nasty Leylandii trees don't get any ideas from looking at this picture....:(
