Whats In the East?
Why doesnt tolkien talk about the lands beyond the eastern border of mordor?
"...and to the west I go not." - gandalf the grey. |
I have often wondered that.. perhaps he was too lazy to make something up! lol, maybe that part isn't technicaly middle earth, i don't know, i really haven't answered your question, have I?
|
I guess because everything in his books mainly deal with what is happening in the western part of middle earth, and there's really not much of a point in going into the east, since Sauron had control over most of it.
|
Yeah but wouldn't it be interesting to see whats outside of Saurons control.
And here's a question when all the elves and wizards "went to the west" from middle earth, did all the Elves and Wizards in the East do the same, or was there another Dark-Lord. P.S Who's ur fav Dark-Lord, mine's Morgoth, though I think Saurons is as equally evil! |
yes, it would have been great if he had lived longer and developed a larger picture of middle earth!
|
Maybe, a grandson.etc. Should carry on the stories, like Christopher Tolkien.
But it probably wouldn't be as good because of the way Tolkien was, he was a recluse so developed a world of his own. |
