I guess I fall back into the 'back after a long absence' category.

Long absence being about 3 years!

But I was feeling nostalgic and was compelled to visit.

Well, I'm still around for one! And I'm still actively moderating, so I'll move this thread to the Barrow-Downs forum, where it will join others that concern our membership rather than discussions of Tolkien's works.

Oh yes. I'm still here too. After being abandoned for years and years and years. I love this site and I get kicked off! If it makes you feel any better just know that during my sabatical I was always watching you lot and smiling :)
I love this place. And now we have a Hobbit movie it's time to convert an old friend back to the 'Downs!

Good old Thenamir (emphasis on the word old) is still around.

This is the first time I've been back properly in years. Originally theRealFindorfin, now Findorfin I doubt anyone actually remembers my name or posts, lol!!

Still here. A bit treeish but still awake.

Still around, though not as often as I would like to be.

Every so often. A little stiff and worn now that age is starting to press down on me but still reading. And looking for that perfect rpg to be in....

I dont want to start a thread, but as my sig says I will not be around much for a while, and hopefully it is soon when I get to post properly on this thread. Just thought I would say my temporary goodbye before bolting without a word!:)

I joined in... 2003, I believe. I had a different name and for some reason it stopped letting me post. I don't post much any more, but I am here. :)

I'm still around and basically never gone. Anymore (1 year hiatus in 2003).

Oh, it feels so right to be back. :) It's been a while... But hey, 5 years seem to fade away when you come back and find same old faces once again. :cool:
Seems I have to do some reading first before I can even start dreaming of posting myself - but I'll be around. Hope there'll be time for an RPG, too
(though I can only hope Child has forgiven I deserted her without explanations during our co-owned Shire game... :( ).
