Weapons of Darkness

Ok, we have a number of items and weapons the elves and dwarves made, enchanted with "good" magic, but what of the enemy's weapons?

We hear of the Morgul blades, which transform their victims into wraiths (I believe); Grond, the Hammer of the Underworld; and the Rings of Power Sauron wrought, but are there any others?

I hope I'm not forgetting anything obvious.

There is also Grond the battering ram and the whips of fire the Balrogs used.

The balrogs' greatest weapon was said to be the aura of fear and dispair that they projected.

The Nazgul had a similar weapon, sometimes called "the black breath". I'm sure that was a psychological or spiritual thing, nothing to do with helitosis

How about the cursed weapons made by Eol? Though not of The Enemy, they still have innate malice.

Among Morgoth's most powerful weapons were the Great Dragons.
He was winning the War of Wrath until Ancalagon the Black was killed by Earendil.

Just like Dementors, and Spectres. I wonder how many other authors have created foes in that vein?

I always think that the greatest weapons of the 'enemy' are similar to those possessed by terrorists today, namely fear and mistrust. They might not have mighty swords and great and terrifying weapons of war, merely the idea of what they could do is enough. I always wonder if the Witch-King really was all that invincible or if he managed to get away with it for years just because everyone thought he was.
