Ladies and Gentlemen!

Is somewhear in the texts by JRRT information about the Fear of Human or Elves? What is the derivation of Fea? Can Eru don`t give the Fea to the new-born being? Or each new-born being gets the Fear automatically? In what moment Fea places in Hroa of new-born Elf or Man? Before the birth or some time after it?

Thank you.

P.S.: Thank you very much for the answers about the "Maggot-folk of Mordor".

Sincerely yours,
Dmitry.

Re: The question about the Fear.

Also Morgoth's Ring Laws and Customs Among the Eldar. That's page 207 in the Houghton Mifflin hardback version. There is some discussion of this also speckled throughout the Myths Transformed section of that same volume.
