Audio Books, CDs of LotR

Which recording of LotR is the best? BBC (1995 or 1999), Mind's Eye, Abridged, Unabridged, Ian Holm, other?

the one i like best - in fact i just finished listening to one of the discs, is narrated by Rob Inglis. it is an unabridged reading of all the books by a quite delightful actor - he does different voices for all the characters, sings all the songs, and in all makes it seem like he's right there in front of you reading the book to you.

i just listened to the part in TT about treebeard and the ride of the rohirrim to the battle of helm's deep and then to isengard with mithrandir. very exciting!!!

I've only heard the BBC 1980s "Hobbit" and the begginings of ther 80's LotR production, so I'm not much of an authority. So far my favorites are the clips I have of Tolkien reading from his own books. Those are so cool! I love the way he does Gollum; it's just like I imagined it!
