Ring of Barahir
 

Ive seen a few post about it this ring but none answer my question.

Does anyone know is what the ring was made out of? Silver? metal? Any help is appreciated.

"His words were proud, and all eyes looked upon the ring; for he held it now aloft, and the green jewels gleamed there that the Noldor had devised in Valinor. For this ring was like to twin serpents, whose eyes were emeralds, and their heads met beneath a crown of golden flowers, that the one upheld and the other devoured; that was the badge of Finarfin and his house;" (Silmarillion, 19)

According to the second version of the Lay of Leithian, the ring itself was gold as well.

I don't know that this really matters but in all the online Lord of the Rings stores I have seen, the ring of Barahir is always silver.
