Love stories in Middle Earth
I am well aware of the Aragorn/Arwen, Eowyn/Faramir, and Sam/Rosie relationships, but were there any other love stories mentioned in the appendices or somewhere in Tolkien's body of work that mentioned a love interest for the others in the Fellowship? And what of those outside of the Fellowship (Elrond's significant other, etc)? Just curious.

Luthien and Beren. It is like a Arwen/Aragorn story about 8000 years before the end of the third age.
|
There was Turin and Niniel (Niniel turnred out to be Turins sister in the end) that happened around the same time as Beren and Luthien. Beren and Luthiens a better love story though.

And there's the story of Amroth and Nimrodel. Legolas sings aboutn them in the FotR. I think that's a nice story. Elrond's other half was Celebrian. I think she was captured by orcs and rescued by Elladan and Elrohir, but left over the Sea soon after. Correct me if I'm wrong

Daisy; you're right.
As for the rest of the fellowship, Pippin married someone called Diamond (I think), and Merry must have married someone, because in the Appendixes it says that he and Pippin left their jobs to their sons, meaning he had a son, and probably a wife too. |
Merry wedded Estella Bolger, Fatty (Fredegar)'s sister. Luthien and Beren were closer to 6000 or 6500 years before the end of the Third Age though (the First Age was only about 500 years long). Also, there are Finrod and Amarië of the Vanyar. Now that's a sad story

I believe she stayed in Valinor when Finrod left.
