Help!

When I send in a post I am:

Animated Skeleton.

But when I go on my profile page I am:

Haunting Spirit .

Why is this??

Bye, Elessar

LePetitChoux 01-28-2003 11:14 AM

I think Haunting Spirit in yur profile means you are just an ordinary member, as opposed to a mod.

Yeah, that must be it. I have to say, i wondered briefly about that myself. By the way, LePetitChoux, what is that Kings of Chaos thing all about?

King_Elessar 01-28-2003 01:06 PM

Oh, thanks guys,*breathes again* I was getting really confused then!

What shows up on your profile is your forum access level.

Normal member = Haunting Spirit

Moderator = Barrow Master

Administrator = Downs Controller

eleanor_niphredil 01-29-2003 12:06 PM

Whats the difference betwee a moderator and an Administrator?

Arwen Imladris 01-29-2003 01:07 PM

Umm... a moderator moderates and an administrator administrates? Seriously though, a moderator (I think, I am not one)looks after certain forums and makes sure that people are on track, they delete off track or offensive posts. Administraters (again I think)on the other hand take care of the "paper" work. They are probebly the ones who handle registrations and things like that. Does anyone know anymore about it?

LePetitChoux 01-29-2003 01:17 PM

Registration is automatic.
Moderators are more priviledged than normal members, bur Admins are the highest up the forums' status ladder.
I think.
