One Week Rule

Greetings all.

I would like to propose an informal rule for the quiz board. If someone gets a question correct but goes for more than a week without posing a new question, that person waves the right to the next question. (This can then revert either to the previous question asker or to whomever is the first person to check the thread after the time limit is up).

Any objections?

It's you and me man. Maybe we should start a Maglor/Telchar thread and make sure it stays active. What do you think?

Re: One Week Rule

I go on every day and sometimes twice.. I think the one week rule is a good idea, but I dont want to do it yet. More people would have to agree.

P.S. Maglor, check out the 'Odd Man Out' Thread, you have everyone waiting for you.

Odd Man Out

Sorry about that. Thanks for the heads up (I guess people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw the first stone!)

Well, if we get five or six more people to agree, I say we move forward!

Re: One Week Rule

I totaly support the one week rule. Then we wouldn't have to wait so long to see a new question in our favorite threads. If someone goes on a trip or their computer crashes, I'm sure they wouldn't mind someone asking a question for them.

Re: One Week Rule

Just as an amendment to this rule is it reasonable that upon asking a question that is not answered within a week the Asker should then move on to another question? I put this forward because there are a few threads that have stalled because no-one has been able to aswer the question (Case in point - Awakened Analogies)...

Also if this rule is held to be formalised at all after 5 days a note should be posted in the WANTED thread and then after a week someone then ask a question... this should keep the whole section relatively fluid.
