An apology
 

My dear friends,

A while ago I disappeared from the Barrow-Downs, leaving my responsibilities to the RPG forums and to all of you. I have decided to try to come back, but I don't want to do it without your permission and forgiveness.

I was (and, to some extent, still am) having some fairly serious personal issues, emotional and in my relationships. I felt overwhelmed and overtaxed, unable to handle the demands being placed on me in my life. This DOES NOT excuse my actions in leaving without giving any of you any notice. I have felt terrible about it, but did not know how to make amends. I realize now that I can't, but can only ask you to forgive me. I realize that in leaving I created burdens for many of you, and I am truly, deeply sorry. I also realize that you might not be able to welcome me back as the member I used to be, and I will understand if that is the case. I just have to get this off of my chest and apologize to all the people that I left without so much as a good-bye. You were (and still, I hope, are) my friends and I had no right to abandon all of you the way I did. My apologies from the deepest place in my heart.

A PM might have been a better method of getting your message across or posting in the RPG, which you left.

I don’t think you have much to worry about; the members of the Downs are great. Don’t fret over being absent, we all get bogged down with life, which leaves little time for our online family, I myself have been absent for sometime with work and other commitments keeping me away. Hope to see you around more in the future.
