I still will be lurking around...

...yet I'm going to an airport in an hour - going to Egypt, where I'm not sure to have a full time internet access, so, though I'll try any chance to pop up in here, my posting will be limited :(, for it's different to have an easy acces from your own PC at home and public shared in an university abroad. Still, I won't miss any chance of visiting the BD, which became part (and very important indeed) of my life.

I'll be missing you dudes and gels,

yours

Re: I still will be lurking around...

What will you be doing in Egypt? Visiting your mummy?

Orald 04-09-2001 04:03 PM

not funny, when I first read it, but then I thought of the Downs theme, and it fits nicely.

The Barrow-Wight 04-09-2001 04:25 PM

So unfunny it needed critiquing? I think not!

Just so you won't complain next time...

If he's not visiting his Mummy, maybe he'll get to see his Deadie!

...or his Ghoulfriend!

*Groan*

I once bought a hukah from an Egyptian man. I thought I was getting a good price at the time, but later I realized Egypt me.

HI, hope you're back soon -- though I can't tell from your post if you're going for a short trip or a more extended semester abroad. In any case, you'll be missed.

I can't wait until he starts posting again, I was about to leave a post dangling for him to fill in with a quote, but then I remembered he left for Egypt. <img src=frown.gif ALT=":(">

HI is already there

As is the wont of any decent wight, I reappear on friday 13

I haven't found any of the above named pleasant characters yet, though who knows, maybe chance meeting will occur some day. ;)

I will spend here 2,5 months, studying in a Language Center, with the goal of improvement of my Arabic mastery, and will be back in a full mode posting by the end of June (it's so lo-o-o-ong)

I find Egypt very interesting and attractive place, though dormitory proved to be much worser than I expected (as is usual way with expectations of the kind) and it's horribly hot already (though Egyptians keep promising the temperature rise  ) Still, as Bilbo used to say you put yout foot right in it yourself, so I'm going to enjoy as much of it as I may (in sha' llah, or in English, if the Lord wills)

Thank you for your worm replies

yours as usual

GeorgeLashkhi

I hope you would not count this as overbold, as it is upon request, but here it comes:

The final strokes on the topic: the term proved to be shorter than it was expected, so I'm back home, sitting in my own cosy armchair (sounds like Bilbo, it does :)) typing at my own long missed keyboard  , and feeling happy about being home, though I really enjoyed my sojourn in Egypt as well.
