Barrow-Downs Personality Test
 

I apologize if another thread on this topic has already been made, but has anyone else noticed the personality test on the Barrow-Downs main page? If so, who did you get? It says that I am most like Samwise and very similar to Merry and Pippin.

I just noticed it the other day. According to that test, I'm Barliman, or Frodo, or Sam.

eerg, i was like frodo, sam and gandalf. since when did that happen?! but on one of the questions, one of the choices was eat bill the pony?! [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img] poor bill.

I got Legolas! I *always* get him. Why? Just once, I'm going to answer everything backwards and get someone else. This getting him ever dang time is a little freaky. o.0

i got aragorn. and am alot like gandalf and legolas.

I got Sam. After thinking about that for a little while I realized that I really am a lot like Sam.

I've often said that Sam is a lot like a dog. A dog protects its master no matter what. If something tries to hurt its master a dog bites that thing. If a dog's master needs help a dog will try to help. Sam and I are both a lot like that.

Sam was very unkind to Gollum. Gollum probably deserved it, too. And me, well, I'm sure you've seen my posts.

When Frodo got bitten Sam didn't hesitate a moment in taking the quest upon himself. And me, well, I'm sure you've seen my posts. (You can't have a good quest without stabbing a few orcs, one might say.) But seriously, my only joy is in helping people.

Anyway, I got Sam, and I am like Sam.

And I don't even like Sam.

Well, it took 15 tries but I finally came out as Frodo. (Hm. No, not an easy test to manipulate.)

Okay, I admit it. On the first try I was Aragorn.

<Shudder> Well, Maril, sweetie, this season I've mainly been wearing Wychwood Brewery t-Shirts and jeans with the hems worn into tatters. I find that when combined with army surplus boots that see polish once every two months the overall effect can be beyond description.

Do you know what people do on these tests? They try to pick answers that will give them say, Legolas ("I want to be Legolas so I will pick this!") Annoying annoying!

You are right, Ithiliel. The real way to take the test is to answer truthfully. For instance, I like hobbits but I hate mushrooms (yick), so I never get hobbits as a result. I'm also a bit leery of the sea, so Legolas never comes up.

Yes, I know many people that try to manipulate the personality tests, and they do it quite well. By the way, I went onto another weebsite and took another personality quiz, and there, I was most like Arwen and Eowyn!! That is SO weird!! So, I am most like Sam, Arwen, and Eowyn.
