Has anyone...

Read or even glanced through "Tolkien: The Illustrated Encyclopedia". This is by far one of the most detailed and enlightening books I have read. If you were confused by the first 1/2 of the Sil...read this book. The coolest part is the geneology and family trees of the Flora and fauna of ME. And also the sociology trees of ALL races of Men, elves, orcs, Hobbits, and creatures. It explains every single age from Creation to the Age of the Sun. Plus the illustrations are great.

That sounds quite like "A Tolkien Bestiary" which is a great book. I especially like the picture of a Balrog.

Where can you get those books?

I am reading the Bestiary right now (borrowed from the library), and I really like it, where can you get hold of the other one? And the Bestiary for that matter? (to buy).

Yeah, I have that book. It's awesome! Of course, not everything is in there, but it's really cool. I read most of it, skimmed through it, looked at the pictures. Very nice book.
