Turning the drama funny

My friend and I saw The Two Towers one too many times, and with our commentary, we turned the whole movie into a mad house...this is what the characters SHOULD have been saying:

(scene in Gondor with the Nazgul and Frodo; Frodo is offering the Ring to the Nazgul)
Frodo: $15!! That's the final price!!
Nazgul: No...I want it for $12!!
Frodo: $13!! That's my last offer!!
Nazgul: $12!!!!!!
Frodo: NOOOO!!!!!

(P.S. this is my first time at a forum, so sorry if this is all wrong-ish)

More theories:
There has to be a dramatic drowning scene once in each movie...
First: Sam as he chases after Frodo during the breaking of the Fellowship (I always pictured that to be funny in the book!!)
Second: Frodo dramatically drowning in the dead marshes. Dramatically, again.

Anyone else got any mad theories or what people should have said? Be mroe than obliged to hear.

Oh my god, you're pathetic. I can't believe you, putting dialogue into the Nazgūl's mouth. Now, it's been a while since I read the book, but I believe that the scene went something like this:

"You are beaten. It is useless to resist. Do not let yourself be destroyed!

Gandalf never told you what happened to your father."

"He told me enough! He told me you killed him!"

"No. Gollum is your father."

This looks like a great fun topic for the Mayhem forum! Moving it there...

AAAHH!!! That's scary!! Even though Gollum is my favorite character, I don't think I would like to see the day he is anyone's father *shudder*.

Good one though.

Now for a stupid question my friend wanted to know (as a joke): what does Sauron need the Ring for, he can't wear it anyhow. Just imagine Sauron with a Ring on his eyelash!! Fun!!

Another madcap theory of my friend's and mine is the Middle-Earth theme park. Mt. Doom is just one of those artificial volcanoes that goes off every three hours. (Actually, during the movie, every time the volcano started flaring, she would whisper "Three hours, there it goes again" or something like that.

Another weird theory is that the reason Elrond is so grumpy all the time, is because Arwen really isn't his daughter (it's too long a story, and a tad inappropriate to put how we came to that conclusion)

Oh, and one of my other friend thinks the reason why it wouldn't be good to live in the Shire is because which of these war cries sounds better? :

Anduril for the Dunedain!

Frying pan for the Shire!
I don't see what's so bad about frying pans though...

There should be a Middle-Earth Theme Park. Another of my friends thought we could become billionares building our own. Of course, my response was for her to stop being so optimistic...or just fanciful at that. I really doubt a bunch of thirteen years olds are going to build a theme park...

Oh, for water slides, there is the Rivendell Flood, where you ride white, clear horse, and ride down a flood, and there are little Ringwraiths and Frodo's everywhere!!

And then the Mt. Doom Ride, which you ride a giant ring, and it's just a drop, and right before you hit the bottom, you see Gollum.

Did anyone notice in TTT Gollum sounded like a combination of Yoda and Moaning Myrtle and looked like ET? There was one phrase (I don't remember it) where he actually phrased his sentence liked Yoda would, all topsy turvy!!

Well, I'm going to see my friend today (the one who commented on the whole movie with me) so if we remember anymore of our bizarre theories, I'll put 'em here.

Blue Elf 01-21-2003 12:54 PM

Oh, I forgot to mention that Peter Jackson, or whoever chose out the cast was totally biased. For eye color. In one scene, 12 of of 13 people had blue eyes!!! Even Gollum had blue eyes!! Oh well....they wouldn't let me act in that case....I have hazel eyes...

Blue Elf 01-21-2003 09:50 PM

'Cording to my friend, I utterly forget to mention the Arwen conspiracy. Y'see, here it is:

Arwen really isn't in love with Aragorn, while he was busy on the fellowship, she met some nice elf guy, and hired Eowyn to seduce Aragorn. Just so you know, her idea, not mine...

No one is replying.....

But, anyhoooow, til someone does....this about Gandalf...

(Gandalf takes off his cloak and reveals a bright white outfit)
Gandalf: Buy Istari Bleach for better results!!

Hirilaelin 01-22-2003 05:23 PM

During the Council of Elrond:

Gimli breaks his ax on the ring, then a few moments later he offers it to Frodo.

Gimli: ...And my ax!

Legolas: (muttering) What's left of it...

When we watched the movie for the first time, my Dad just suddenly made that up.

Blue Elf 01-22-2003 10:21 PM

HAHAHAHAHA!!!

That's really funny, Hiralaen (sorry if I messed up the spelling).

I think that Sam and Frodo are convinced they smell bad and need baths very often because there are so many drowning scenes!!

I think the drowning scene with Sam in FotR should have gone more like this...

Sam: I'm coming, Mr. Frodo!! (jumps and lands in the water)

Frodo: Yes, I got rid of him!!

Sam: NOOOO!!! Mr. Fr-glubglub-odo!!

Frodo: Sam, cut the drama. The water is a foot deep!!

Sam: (standing up) Oh.

In TTT that guy in the dead marshes was soooo Dracula...really...but that's no excuse for another drowning scene...plus, of course the Aragorn drowning scene...next movie, they'll have Gollum dramatically drowning in Mt. Doom...
