Anyone familiar with a Lassaraukar?

as ik was browsing through some LotR sites, i came across Cabed en Aras. There are some intersting articles on that site, dealing with creatures, supposedly from Tolkien's works. List includes: Lassaraukar, the Dindae of Nan Guldin,The Demons of Aglarond, Lesh-Y of the Court of Ardor, Mourfuin, the Lord Demon of Ardor , Razarac, The Winds of Taurang
the thing is, i have never come across any of these in my reading. Were they actually created by Tolkien, or did the author of the page pull it out of his own head?

Never heard of any of those "creatures," and some of those names don't even sound "Tolkienesque!" (Albeit I am NOT the CTE -- Chief Tolkien Expert -- here.) But really: "Lesh-Y?" "Mourfuin?" Sounds Fish-Y to me.

Mourfuin sounds like Morfuin which means black Night (i used that name in a fanfic, a while ago)

Maybe "Mourfuin" is a typo?

Losthuniel - I always say: when in doubt, ask Google.com! I entered one of the creature names in the search engine, and the results all lead to pages having to do with Tolkien role-playing card games.

Even better, all the results were in foreign languages, which meant I got to use the Google translator. The literal translations are worth the price of admission.

Bottom line though: these creatures all appear to be in a Tolkien-based card game, possibly published in Europe only.

ohhhh! thank you for clearing that up, Birdland. It makes sense now.
