A white flame flickering on the One Ring... it is recognising a new owner...

When in FOTR, Galadriel is tempted by the One Ring, you can clearly see that White Flames flicker on the surface of the One Ring... or like a fiery light...
Do you think it was recognising a new owner? Since Galadriel was one of the few ones that could master the ring and overthrow Sauron, taking his place...
Eitherway, that scene impresses me terribly...

Sorry, I just watched the scene and can't see to what you are refering.
H.C.

Take a closer look at the ring on Frodo's hand. It seems that its reflecting Galadriel's light when shes tempeted by the ring... But if you look closer, it seems that has a light flickering on its surface, like a reflection but underneath its surface...
Much like the fires of Sauron when the "shadow of the past" chapter of the movie... but fainter...

I can't see that either...

cant remember seeing it exactly, but i think i know what you mean. Good theory. It could well have been acknowledging Galadriel as a possible owner.
