Differences in taste are usually not worth arguing about, IMO
I can certainly agree that parts of the book are slow, but then lots of great books are slow. And I could probably prattle on all day about what I don't like about the book, but my positive feelings... |

Hmmm...
I love COH, but I'd stake my claim on the side of LOTR. I find it has a more balanced ( and a more nuanced and realistic) view on some of the many complexities of the human condition. |
