How about a reverse "Doom of Mandos" in the Third Age?

Think about it! Mandos said treachery will undo victories, which happened spectacularly. While in the Third Age, treacheries helped the victories! The Dead Men of Dunharrow, Saruman, Wormtongue...and many more(I think).

That's all I can think of now...I'll return for more.
