*** ANNOUNCEMENT ****

5000 members was the magic number we were shooting for before cleaning up our member rosters. That number has come and gone, and now we will be purging those accounts that are no longer active. Accounts that will be deleted include those with zero posts and those with no activity for more than six months. We are doing this manually and in no hurry, but over time you will see our membership total drop dramatically as we do this.

The purpose of this is to relieve the strain caused by having 5000+ members, each of which has 2-20 files attached to their account. By deleting several hundred accounts, we will actually be ridding our server of 20,000+ files. This will aid greatly in our periodic forum backup procedures.

If your account is deleted and you are active, please contact me with your member # and I'll restore it. We are trusting the UBB software to tell us who is not active.
