A good year??

After discussions here and in the chat room I think we've come up with a good year for the MUSH.

Third Age 1853

In this year:
* The Shire was more than 250 years old....and Bree was older...
* Narmacil II was King in Gondor and Minas Tirith was still Minas Anor (But no tower in the citadel yet)....
* The Witch-king was harassing the North and Sauron was in Dol Guldur....and Greenwood was already Mirky
* The Wainriders were encroaching from the East....
* The Eothed lived in the Vales of Anduin....
* The Lonely Mountain was unoccupied but Moria was still full of Dwarves....
* Elves lived in Rivendell and Lothlorien ... and were still sailing from Dol Amroth....
* Arthedain was in its last century of struggle....Rhudaur was controlled by Hill-men and Cardolan was already destroyed (and the Barrows haunted)....

A world of danger and excitement!

Who likes this timeframe? I do!
