Oh, yes, this happens all the time!!

I have some friends that haven't read the books and sometimes they want to know what some of the differences are between the two. And once I get going on one thing, I move to another, then another, until it's time to leave.

The other day my buddy asked me about Arwen, so I started with her, of course I had to mention Glorfindel, then I explained his history, which meant explaining Gondolin, which meant introducing Turgon, at which point I needed to run down the whole family tree and show all relations between Galadriel, Elrond, Aragorn, and ect. I must've talked for two straight hours!!!

I'm far too obsessed with these books!!
