I think the rangers would be commando's. You know, those jungle types. Battling against the Vietcong. Cool. Simply perfect. But even cooler would be that Frodo got assistence of a navi seals team. They would not only wear bleu suits while traveling trough Rohan. They would ride horses with Oxigen tanks on their back.
