A couple weird associations from my own teaching practice:
Eru - our evasive Head-teacher. Passes his will through his deputies (he's got four) but you never know where he is in person. Some little'uns may even believe he's a myth [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
Bilbo - a sophisticated adolescent, who tells his hangers-on in a Geography lesson (probably taught by Gandalf):"Hear, hear. What he's saying may be true, as I've also been there." [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
