My intentions were good, but it was almost dark by the time I reached home, so I wasn't able to walk outside. However, being an elf of many resources, I dug out my treadmill from all the clutter that it's been buried under, put in my FotR dvd, and walked indoors.
On the con side, there was no breeze, no fresh air or any change in scenery. On the pro side, I didn't have to worry about keeping track of the distance (the treadmill kept track) and I got to watch my favorite movie at the same time. Distance-wise, I reached Bywater (think I'll spend the night at the Dragon and have a pint or two). Time-wise, the hobbits and Aragorn reached Rivendell safely and the rest of the fellowship showed up. I just hope I can reach Rivendell before Frodo & Sam reach Mt. Doom.
