We have walked 580 miles.
We have passed Barren Hills (570).
It is 35 miles to the next landmark.
We still have 342 miles to Caras Galadon in Lothlórien.

The nights are increasingly cooler, but we still must walk. The wind chills me to my Hobbit bones, but Gandalf pushes us on.
