Oh, "Three Ships" isn't too hard. It just goes, Dah-DAH, dah-dah, dah-DAH-dah-dah...Oh, wait [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] . If you want to hear the original version of it, though, the Alfred Deller consortium has a nice recording of it and a lot of the other non-Muzak-oriented Christmas carols like "Lullay, lullay" and "Tomorrow Will Be My Dancing Day". (I'd love to do a Rings version of that, but was afraid not too many people would get it. Has anyone else heard it? John Rutter did a version of it as well).
Anyway, back to the topic - you don't really need the tune, just get a copy of the lyrics and try to write a poem that copies the meter, and the problem of fitting the tune should take care of itself.
