Suiting the action to the word, he forked a large section of his slab of meat into his mouth and chewed with all the gusto of a man who thinks his repast came straight from the kitchens of Valinor.
Washing down the beef with a slog of ale from his mug, Laevin said, "I was just about to ask this man Śmarth to tell me more about himself. It might be his one opportunity to get in a word, you know how I am once I get started with my talkin'..."
