Sophia grinned in glee as Fin ran frantically to fix his hair. She and Nerindel exchanged innocent glances until he was out of earshot and then they both burst out laughing.
"Oh his face!" Sophia laughed clutching her sides.
"Priceless!" Nerindel gasped. Earwen giggled from behind them too, trying to stifle it in a glass of miruvor. They managed to calm themselves however before Fin returned, and by the time he had suavely offered a dance to the first taker, Sophia was calm enough to graciously accept.
As they danced Sophia nearly burst out laughing again, but the offended look on Fin's face stopped her, "I'm sorry..." she said, apologetically, "but you were a lot drunker the last time we danced." He cracked a small smile.
"I was," he admitted, "but that can be remedied before next time." Sophia shook her head in mock despair. As they returned to the table Sophia pushed Fin toward Nerindel.
"It's her turn now... go on you lazy elf." Never one to refuse, he offered his hand to Nerindel. Sophia collapsed in her chair gasping with laughter and turned to Earwen for some good quiz-room gossip.
