Sorry for any confusion! I guess my geography is about as good as Aman's. I wasn't quite sure when we set out if the thieves were travelling along the north or south shore of the river. So I guessd the north shore, as there was some comment about whether they would go north into the forest. I then also thought that the posse didn't know for sure if the theives were easterlings, just that they had set out in an easterly direction, so we didn't know exactly where they would be heading. And there was also some talk of the great western road as being the quickest, although for them the more dangerous ruoute, east.So Deorlin's comment was just kind of a general surmising as to what the thieves were up to, and to tell the truth, was written by me in order to have some interaction with Anglachel and let him do some "I know this area" stuff.
