Yes, but I heard(here or on another board) that the dwarves died out, its in the people of middle earth. But after the Dagor dagorath, the dwarves do help Aulė with the rebuilding of Arda(I think they were kept in the halls of Mandos). But as for the locations, I also think in the Blue mountains, the Iron hills and Erebor.
