Rose OOC - LOL I have no idea how this is going to work out!! Pio and Bird first had the hostage idea. Pio is away during the day and will be back this evening. Hope she knows! I'll be gone several hours to my son's orientation at a new high school this evening. You guys can move my character along tagging behind Frodo and Sam if you want to. Will post later tonight.
So you are a Baggins!!! Congratulations on your rise in status.

Like Galadriel, Idril had the gift of far seeing. In her mind she could picture quite vividly the drenched and bruised figure of Rose huddled on the deck, as reflected in the minds of the Blue Wizards. Through these same images, she could also see the actions of Lord Mithadan.
Strangely enough, she could not get into the mind of Mithadan himself. Idril pondered on this, and thought of several reasons, some with small hope attached and others bleak and hopeless. Truly, she did not know why.
When Idril came to apprise Child of the situation, she wondered whether she had done well to report Rose's condition. For Child furiously paced the deck, and even started to untie the rigging of a small rescue vessel kept for emergency purposes on the leeward side.
Idril cautioned Child against rashness, and managed to appease her by reporting that Frodo had bravely agreed to the foolhardy plan, which now seemed the only hope left.
Idril shook her head. "Do not be rash! The ships of Meneli chose to depart so we are even weaker than before. I have sent a message to that fair lady asking her to return, but I fear her heart is bent only on Aman."
So now," Idril noted, "We wait for Samwise's final consent and for the two Ringbearers to gird themselves to go forward. And you, Child, are you ready to go behind them to try and wrest Rose from their control?"
Child turned around and glared, "When this affair first became known, I did not believe I had it in my heart to go against Lord Mithadan who has been both a guide and a friend to me. But now that I have seen his purpose and design, I would gladly oppose him and all that he stands for even if it cost me my life."
