Rûdhchamion was in the tree gazing towards the direction of the men. Far beyond to the southwest, he spied another group. The distance was still to great, but they seemed to be coming towards the men. A small band, but he could not make them out if they were mortals, hidden in the shadows of the deep forest woods.
He looked down to where Anarya and Khelek were. The wolf-pup was sitting at the foot of the tree, the maiden's arm around him. The tall elf jumped down and sat next to them, a worried frown on his face
“Another group moves toward the men we follow. We cannot risk a fire tonight, but we must take to the trees. “ He sighed, thinking. “Khelek, you too must stay up the tree- until morning at least.”
“What is it? More trouble?” Anarya asked, looking at Rûdhchamion, with a slight frown on her face.
He hesitated a moment, but finally spoke. The white wolf-pup looked quietly at the dark elf. Khelek felt something greatly bothering Rûdhchamion, mostly about their safety.
“Anarya, before we continue tomorrow, I would speak my mind and hear your counsel. Danger draws near, and many thoughts trouble me.”
