Kali & Daisy, tweens? Do we have to grow them up so fast?

I thought of this as the hobbit-equivalent of the grammar-school starry-eyed crush that matures into friendhsip, lasts til adulthood and eventually turns into romance and then marriage, over a decade and a half. The smalltown kind of thing.

Kali can still go blazing to the rescue.
