How about this scenario - we sail up the Anduin to Mount Mindolluin, 2nd age, prior to the founding of Minas Anor. I cannot see there will be many or any to challenge us, especially if we sail under cover of darkness. We can, in fact, go all the way to Cair Andros, the river island north of the site of Minas Anor.

Then, handy dandy time crystal in hand we can drop you all off, at the precise time you need to be there. Some of you can then trek to the north and west. Others can head south to inhabit the requisite places near Minas Anor.

We can wink out of there and off to whatever time frame we need once you are off loaded.

Will this work?
