We're back from the City, and have decided to squirrel in here for the night. Folk were arriving in Times Square as we were hightailing it out of there.

Pio -- That's a very interesting quote you mention. I remember reading it before, but I must say it takes on new meaning in the context of our story!
Hey, what do you folk think this means for our story? Does this mean Tom came all the way to the River to see the hobbits off, either down by the Falls or further up towards the north? Or does it mean he sees the hobbits later when we troop across his lands on the western migrations? The latter would not be pertinent at this particular point.
I never thought of Tom going as far afield as the Anduin.
Any ideas, anyone?
