ElentariGreenleaf has just left Hobbiton.
Sting

A few screams were heard, but there was nothing they could do to save Eruwen...but to fight.

"No," thought Elentari. "How could I let this happen?" The elf-witch saw Bragolhirwen charge forward, followed by the rest of the company. "Should I use my powers? Could I control them enough? Maybe, but... how could I be certain?". Elentari remembered what someone had once told her, not long ago. But you are of good nature, and have a good heart. That will help you learn what you must to control your strength. Khôrbar's words filled Elentari's mind.

With a loud war-cry, not quite like Bragolhirwen's, Elentari ran forward to join the battle. Star rang as it met Shelob's putrid flesh. All of the company now fought for there lives. There was either life or death in this battle. As Elentari thought of Eruwen, she fought harder still. The elf-witch would not let another of her friends fall that way. Not while she had strength left in her.

Shelob took a strike at Bragolhirwen. Bragolhirwen dived to avoid it, but felt no impact. As she looked up she saw Elentari standing above her with a gash on her arm, but one of Shelob's legs on the floor at her side. Bragolhirwen gave Elentari a brief look of thanks, then continued to fight.

Shelob had screamed in rage as she felt one of her legs huged from her body. She saw an elf like person standing before her and swung out gashing Elentari's left arm. Elentari winced in pain, but did not let Bragolhirwen see this. Hope faded from Elentari's mind as she saw the great spider face Lorin.
