Umbria stood up with a crash, her chair hit the ground. "you have wounded me by that jest Alaemas!" Alaemas recoiled in fear. Umbria stormed up to her room, on the way, knocking into Dolenmar who had finally emerged. She shot him a sharp glance, so that he too recoiled and made way for her to pass.
Dolenmar strode to the table where his fellow ranger sat. "What, have you angered Elfsun? A deadly game you play Alaemas, my friend. You told her then, of Aeryn?"
Alaemas' face grew dark. "aye, I did." Dolenmar raised an eyebrow. "did not take it well i see. Has she come?"
Alaemas removed his grubby cloak, "Aeryn? no, she is still on the road."
Unoticed, another figure slid into the inn. Dressed in dark travelling clothes, Long snow hair, pale skin and sharp grey eyes. "the shire; land of the halflings" she said to herself sitting down in another corner, unseen by Alaemas and Dolenmar.
This stranger, bore a striking resembelance to the elf Umbria who now retired to her chamber. It was infact, Aeryn, of whom Alaemas and Dolenmar were waiting for. Several others in the inn sent glances her way, Aeryn smiled, although nervously.
Aeryn knew her mother did not want her, though, Aeryn thought it was partly her own fault. "She has had a hard life, my mother. I dont think she will recognise me, though i do have to speak with her." Aeryn spoke again to herself.
