"Well, I don't know if you know how big our family is, but, my part had married in to the Hairytoes, and so they took up most of the controling. My mum's father, my grandfather, was a Took, but the rest of my family on my mum's mum's side were Hairytoes. They were not happy with the marriage of a Took, but he turned out 'a nice boy', and his children were adorable, so they gave in. But I think they swore that if one more thing happened, they would not know my mum and granparents. So, that's how it is.
"My mum? Well, she's still in our little hole in rural Hobbiton. No one sees her. I don't even think Mr. Bilbo knows where she lives, for I had never seen him. But Mum reads and plants flowers and vegetables and talks to ma aunt Lilly, her sister. Look at this vine! I'm rather proud of it." She pushed the needlework across the table, showing Ellie her accomplishment.
Perhaps I'm not so boring after all,, she thought.
After asking for the other hobbit's leave, Tiquandel joined them. "How goes it, Champignonne?" he asked.
"Very well, I thank you. Allow me to introduce you to my new friend Ellie. Ellie, this is Tiquandel, from Rivendel." Just then, two people came over.
