Fin was remeniscing further, taking another sip of his wine, when he noticed a figure now stood beside him. He looked up to see a ravishingly attractive lady stood their.
"Hi, I was wondering if anyone was sitting there, she asked. She brushed her hair aside and Fin noticed the slight points of elvish ears. Ah, so we are both elves then! She hid them again quickly and he decided not to comment.
"Hello, my lady," he greeted, "please, be my guest." He motioned for her to sit.
She sat and looked at him, "Oh, by the way, I'm Huntress."
Fin laughed heartily, "Not you real name I daresay, but it matters not. I am Fin, traveller and friend of many."
"You have an air of someone who has been here before?" she asked, leaning forward on her arms, her green eyes shining brightly.
"What beauitful eyes," Fin thought, mesmerised for a second.
"Aye, I have been to this place. And a happy time it was too." He proceeded to retell his tale and Huntress was laughing when he told her of his and Donlammenion's dramatiation, where Don had ended up denting the floor with his sword.
"So that is why you checked the floorboard when you entered?" she asked, still giggling.
"You are observant," he said, smiling as she blushed. "You have been watching me?"
"Um.." she mumbled.
He laughed again, "I take it as an honour. For one as lovely as you to take notice of me is great praise indeed."
He took another sip of wine, finishing the glass and suddenly rose. He strode quickly over to the bar and got another glass, then returned to where Huntress sat.
He poured two glasses and gave one to her. He raised his, saying, "a toast, to new acquaintances."
