Fawain was still sitting at the end of the bar nursing a fresh drink, when an old hobbit entered the inn and hung a scroll on the wall next to her. She hadn't noticed him enter or speak, but he must have, the rest of the common room was watching him and many where crowding round to read the scroll.
Fawain read the scroll with the others. Her thoughts went immediately to her elven friend Léspheria and her twin brother Löthaniel, who always loved a good party.
Fawain turned back to her drink, grinning remembering the time a very drunk Löthaniel had fallen off a table he was dancing on, very undignafied and very un-elf like, she recalled thinking at the time.
Fawain's thoughts were interrupted by snorts of laughter coming from a near by table. As she looked up, one of the women at the table was raising and heading to the bar,the new innkeeper served her, they made introductions and a minute later the second woman joined them at the bar. As a third woman joined them, Fawain decided to inconspicuously listen to their conversation, she was sure it would be intresting.
