Phervásaion stopped and thought for a moment about how long he should stop at the inn. "Ah," he said. "I’ve just remembered I have not booked my room for the night yet. Excuse me for a moment Kitanna while I just speak to the innkeeper for a while."
He got up and made his way too the bar. Aman was busy dealing with customers and taking food and drink orders but, he saw Ruby the maid on her break. Phervásaion walked up to her and said "Excuse me madam, sorry to disturb you on your break but I wondered if I could book a room for the night. I would ask Aman but she looks busy serving other customers at the moment."
"Of course," Ruby replied. "To be honest my break has just finished but I was just finishing my drink off quickly before I started again." Phervásaion gave her the money and his name and Ruby handed him the key to his room. "Enjoy your stay at the Green Dragon," she said as she gave Phervásaion the keys. He thanked her and went back to his table.
"Sorry," he said to Kitanna. "But I need to take my bags and things up to my room and unpack."
"It’s okay. I’ll wait down here for you and then we may go for our walk if you wish," she replied as he grabbed his bags and sword.
"Yes that would be good. Maybe, while I’m gone you can talk to the man from Rohan over there," Phervásaion pointed towards Éothed. "I’ll be back down in about half an hour," he said as he made his way to the stairs. He climbed up them in his shabby old boots carrying what little supplies he had with him and came too his room. He unlocked the door and opened it. "Hmm, nice and cosy," Phervásaion whispered to himself. He put his bags on his bed and threw his clothes and supplies in the draws not caring really for neatness. They were already old and worn anyway.
