CADORSA

Cadorsa pulled her cloak tighter about her shoulders as she entered the town. The sun was bright yet the wind that had blown the clouds away was harsh on her face.

Her horse, Jacks, was an older mare, nothing special about her except for the fact that she had once belonged to Cadorsa's father. He had traveled to Bree from Gondor upon her, in search of a new life. He had met the young and frivolous Marietya, the stable mistress, there and married her. A few years later Cadorsa had been born, but took her mother's life in her violent entry.

Now Cadorsa found herself very alone in this world with the death of her dear father and the eviction of the house she had grown up in. She had gone where the road had taken her, but now with the harsh light of the sun things were beginning to come together.

She must get back to Minas Tirith to find what family she had left. Her father had had a twin sister, and if she lived, Cadorsa would have a family to go home to.

She smiled slightly at the sight of an inn, The Green Dragon. She was weary and thirsty, perhaps she could find a few maps of roads to Minas Tirith.

Leaving her horse with the stable boy, she smoothed out her skirts and walked into the inn and up to the bar. Tucking her chin length blonde hair behind her ear, and gazing with green eyes at the wood on the counter, she listened to the voices about her. One voice got her attention with it's words.

"I'm going to Minas Tirith. I would be honored if you and your companion would join me,"

Cadorsa jumped and turned to see a beautiful young elf maid speaking to another elf.

"Minas Tirith?" Cadorsa said, standing and walking over to the maid, "You are going to Minas Tirith?"

The elf looked warily at her, causing Cadorsa to blush slightly for her rudeness for interupting.

"I am in need of a guide to the White City, if you would be needing a companion, I would be willing," Cadorsa looked up at the silver haired maiden and prayed for a positive response.
