Bordarigorn was stunned. Never had he seen the elves in this way. Two offered to give their lives for that scrawny Easterling. These once where not as bad though. They just had an honour problem. So did the entire human race. When he heared the man offering Telpeheled aid, he smiled. These where OK really.
"No need to go all the way to the cave Master-"
"Kane" Kane said shortly.
"Master Kane. I have medications with me. I always have. You can use them if you wish. You are a man of honour, I can see that, but in my opinion, honour is a terrible thing. It took my life almost twice. Here, let me mend your wounds and those of the others as well. After that, you can go take the care of your dead." Bordarigorn said.
Bordarigorn opened his backpack and took out the herb's he always carried around. The bandages went around the wounded places and the air caught the smell of the Kingsfoil. Soon after, the Easterlings went their own way. Anuion stepped towards Jerika and took her by the hand.
"I know not what blood is in your veins. And I don't know which possesses mine, but we are the first of the Elven and Easterling race to leave each other without death involved. Go in peace. You fought with honour, but the pity is that it is for the wrong side. Go now, this war won't be long. It's a feeling." Anuion said friendly.
Jerika's face formed something that looked like smile. She turned around and her hand slipped out of Anuion's. The Easterlings walked down the hill and the Elves turned around, facing Bordarigorn.
"Nice Anuion, really nice. But we have something else to do right now. We are already late and cannot afford the survivors to reach the cave. I just hope that the survivors are Easterling and not Elfish." Bordarigorn said.
The elves looked at each other and a silence followed until Telpeheled broke it.
"What about Durelin? Are we going to leave him here?" He asked grievly while almost shouting at the man.
"Yes we are. But not for long. When we are done in the west, we shall head back to Durelin and take him back to Calas Galadhon. At least, I will go back. Even if I have lost my both leg's and would have to crawl the whole way. I will not leave him behind. He was brave and he will not be left behind. Now, who is willing to follow me for the last time in battle?" Bordarigorn spoke and while doing, he felt as if he was being lifted above the group.
He took out his horn and did not wait for an answer. He gave it a powerful blow and ran of to the west. They had wasted enough time.
