Thengise watched silently as they pulled Collette out of the room. She turned to look at Calad, but could see nothing but hate in his eyes. She quickly turned to look out the window as she held back tears. She could not take it. It saddened her to see him in such a state. All tied up and bound. She began to sing an elven song as she looked out the window. It was of the stars, which she had noticed were much to his liking as to hers. As she continued to sing she stuck her hand forward and began to stroke his hair. Calad winced with both fear and anger. Yet her song was calming him down a bit.
