Just to clear this up, five is the just the number of Istari
known to have entered into Middle-earth. Tolkien hinted that there may well have been more.
I do not think it would be possible for Allatar and Pallando do forsake their immortality, since it was not a Gift of Eru to his Children, per se, but was in their very nature as gods or demigods.
