i was always wondering WHY they want to lure you to the deep pools? Remember what Gollum said, something about being careful not to follow them, "Or hobbits go down and light little candles!" implying that if they are ensnared by the faces, they will share the same fate. Why do they want to lure people? Maybe i'll never know....
