I have those paperback Ballantine Books, Hobbit & LotR, and to tell you the truth, I don't like the covers at all! Legolas looks like Barry Manilow! Aragorn is okay, but he's way too clean cut. Maybe that's how he should look at the end when he's crowned, but he is supposed to be pretty scruffy prior to that. The Unfinished Tales one is pretty bad too, some creepy hooded guy and a wolf/dog. The Silmarilion cover depicting the downfall of Numenor, however, is outstanding! Anyway, this is just MY humble opinion on those books. -amyrlis These are indeed strange days.
