I don't feel there are many who will see the movies in all their big screen, grand glory, with astonishing special effects and elaborately built sets, and then spend days or weeks afterwards slogging through a 1000 + page book that offers them nothing but words on a page. Sales of the book are up from what I've heard, and I guess that's good. I'm sure they'll improve even more with the release of FoTR in December, but I wonder how many will take the time to read, and to enjoy the story in its best form. <p>Those who will defend authority against rebellion must not themselves rebel. </p>
