Anybody who "waits" to read a book after seeing the movie is just plain silly to me. If you wait on reading a book(I could understand FOTR, but not TTT, ROTK) just so you don't ruin the experience of seeing the film isn't what I would do. You said "Two different types of experiences", you should'nt have to make a time-line on when to read the next book. If thats your choice, then great. <P>Anyways, I got into Tolkien after watching "The Hobbit" and "LOTR" cartoons that came out way back when.<P>Enjoy your reading....
